Print

Currently, the majority of the Phoenix collection exists only in print. You can view this material in person at Northeastern University's Archives & Special Collections, or you can request a scan of a particular item. To view the material in person, please contact Archives staff to arrange a visit. You can find more information about visiting the Archives on our Visitors page.

Digital

Northeastern University's Digital Repository Service (DRS) hosts Phoenix material that has been digitized. This includes an author index*, audio files from WFNX, and PDF issues of El Planeta, 2004-2012; The Phoenix, 2012-2013; The Portland Phoenix, 2013-2014; The Providence Phoenix, 2013-2014; and Stuff Magazine, 2012. You can access the Phoenix material in the DRS using the Search bar above.

*Please note that the author index is compiled initially by year and then alphabetically by author; authors will appear in each year they were published.

Websites

The Phoenix Media/Communications Group's websites were captured by Northeastern University staff using the Internet Archives' Archive-It service. The preserved websites can be viewed on the Archive-It collection page. Select the desired website, choose the date you'd like to view, and you can navigate the website as it appeared on that date. You can also use the search box to search across all preserved Phoenix Media/Communications Group websites.

Please note that the Phoenix Media/Communcations Group periodically removed older material as new material was published. The archived websites do not fully represent all material that has been published since the inception of the Phoenix website in 1994.
